Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation – $5.99 Don’t tell me you didn’t see this coming. Girl (or guy as makeup is gender neutral!), I had to include the Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation in this ultimate list. I also have their Photofocus concealer and absolutely love it. The foundation gives a good coverage and is buildable. It goes on pretty smoothly while application. I’ve combination skin, it works good for me, with a setting spray. If you have dry skin, then you need a proper moisturized base. Or alternatively use oil before applying the foundation. Best part is surely the pricing point and decent shade range – available in 16 different colors.
Makeup Revolution Full Coverage Conceal & Define Foundation – $12
MUR recently launched their collection of foundation in 24 different shades. I’m really hoping they expand the shade range, although it’s already impressive.
It is introduced after the popular Conceal and Define Concealer by MUR. The foundation surely made a lot of buzz during its launch.
Personally, I love the finish of this one & how it looks on my face. The coverage is pretty much there, but will not make you look cake face.
Covergirl TruBlend Matte Made Liquid Foundation – $8.49
Covergirl is one of my favourite brands ever, like really favorite-st. Bummer is that they were not cruelty free. But guess who became Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free?
You know I really want many more brands to turn cruelty free, as I had some Holy Grails. Before I get derail, I’m so happy about Covergirl turning cruelty free! Their TruBlend Matte Made Liquid foundation is available in 40 shades.
But that’s not it. Having combination, acne prone skin, I can’t stress how comfortable it feels while wearing. It is a matte foundation that isn’t drying or cracking. Not to forget the beautiful coverage.
They also have another variation of this foundation, TruBlend Liquid Makeup, which is suitable for you if you ain’t in to matte foundation.
L.A Pro Coverage Illuminating Foundation – $10
While this isn’t suitable for my skin type, this foundation is one of the most acclaimed products. It’s perfect for the illuminating, natural & long lasting finish. My pick would be the matte variant which is also 10 bucks and has 10 new shades added recently.

Definitely a must try at just 6 bucks. Also, they are 100% vegan!
While browsing their site for deals, I came across the newly launched Mix to Match Shade Adjuster Foundation and Undertone, which is a pretty cool concept!
Colourpop No Filter Natural Matte Foundation – $12
Alright I know, Colourpop isn’t technically a drugstore brand. But I still wanted to include it because it’s pretty affordable.
For $12, this 25 ml foundation is available in 42 shades!! Moreover, it is also vegan, yay.
This one is another great pick for oily to combination skin.

Definitely worth a buy, this PRO matte foundation doesn’t dry my skin. It has a slightly thick texture and offers a pretty good coverage, which lasts long. They have recently added 10 more shades to this range.
LA Girl also launched PRO Color Foundation Mixing Pigment. You can use these to customise your foundation shade, which I feel is so cool!
Elf Acne Fighting Foundation – $6
With a limiting shade range, this foundation’s pro is that it actually helps with acne scars.
Offers good long lasting pigmentation. The pricing point is pretty cool too. So maybe that LA Girl corrector can actually help?
